Bedrooms of London
Branding and book design for Bedrooms of London, in partnership with The Childhood Trust
Bedrooms of London tells the story of childhood poverty through a universal space – the bedrooms children sleep, dream, wake up and grow up in.
We partnered with acclaimed photographer Katie Wilson to create a book that documents over 30 bedrooms in boroughs across London. The images sit alongside first-hand narratives of the families.
We worked with children to create a custom set of letterforms that make up the Bedrooms of London logo, and illustrations featured on each page.
They also helped us to create a map of London, showing what the city means to them.
The exhibition at the Foundling Museum ran from 8 February until 5 May 2019. Images courtesy of Peter Mallet.
